Fajr.kz is an alarm app for the Fajr morning prayer.

This Privacy Policy explains what data the app uses and how that data is processed.

Data We Use

Geolocation

Fajr.kz may request access to your geolocation in order to determine your city and calculate the time of the Fajr prayer.

If you allow access to geolocation, your coordinates may be sent to the Fajr.kz server to calculate prayer times and improve the availability of the prayer schedule.

You may also select your city manually if you do not want to use geolocation.

Notifications and Alarms

Fajr.kz uses notifications and Apple system features for alarms, bedtime reminders, and wake-up verification.

App Data

Fajr.kz may store alarm settings, the selected city, reminder settings, and wake-up verification settings on your device.

Server Processing

Fajr.kz may process prayer schedule requests by selected city or coordinates on its server.

Coordinate-based requests may be cached to speed up prayer time calculations and improve the availability of the schedule.

Account

Fajr.kz does not require you to create an account.

Data Sharing

Fajr.kz does not sell your personal data.

Fajr.kz does not use geolocation data for advertising or tracking.

Website Analytics

The fajr.kz website uses Google Analytics 4, connected through Google Tag Manager. Analytics help us understand how visitors use the website, which pages are opened most often, which elements generate interest, and how we can improve the website’s content, usability, and stability.

Analytics are used only on the fajr.kz website and are not used inside the Fajr.kz mobile app unless expressly stated otherwise in this Policy.

As part of analytics operations, anonymized or technical data may be processed, including: information about the device and browser type, operating system, approximate region based on technical connection parameters, pages viewed, visit time, traffic source, and interactions with website elements, such as clicking the “Download on the App Store” button or support links.

Fajr.kz does not transmit to Google Analytics the user’s name, phone number, email address, precise geolocation, religious preferences, account data, or any other information that allows us to directly identify a website visitor. The website also does not use analytics features for the sale of personal data or for independent advertising identification of users by Fajr.kz.

Analytics data is processed by Google services and may be stored or processed on Google servers outside the Republic of Kazakhstan.
