Fajr.kz Privacy Policy

Fajr.kz is an alarm app for the Fajr morning prayer.

This Privacy Policy explains what data the app uses and how that data is processed.

Data We Use

Geolocation

Fajr.kz may request access to your geolocation in order to determine your city and calculate the time of the Fajr prayer.

If you allow access to geolocation, your coordinates may be sent to the Fajr.kz server to calculate prayer times and improve the availability of the prayer schedule.

You may also select your city manually if you do not want to use geolocation.

Notifications and Alarms

Fajr.kz uses notifications and Apple system features for alarms, bedtime reminders, and wake-up verification.

App Data

Fajr.kz may store alarm settings, the selected city, reminder settings, and wake-up verification settings on your device.

Server Processing

Fajr.kz may process prayer schedule requests by selected city or coordinates on its server.

Coordinate-based requests may be cached to speed up prayer time calculations and improve the availability of the schedule.

Account

Fajr.kz does not require you to create an account.

Data Sharing

Fajr.kz does not sell your personal data.

Fajr.kz does not use geolocation data for advertising or tracking.

Website Analytics and Ad Measurement

The fajr.kz website uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to analyze traffic. Google Campaign Manager 360 / Floodlight and Muslim Ad Network may be used to verify the advertising integration and measure its operation. Advertising may appear only on detailed city pages.

Google Consent Mode v2 denies analytics and advertising storage by default. Until you make a choice, Google tags do not create or use analytics or advertising cookies. They may send limited cookieless technical signals with the consent status; advertising identifiers are redacted in this state.

You can allow analytics only, allow analytics together with ad measurement, or keep only necessary functions. Sending user data for advertising and ad personalization are always denied.

Your choice is stored for up to 180 days in the necessary first-party fajr_consent_v1 cookie, which contains no name, contact details, or advertising identifier. You can change the choice through “Privacy settings” in the website footer.

When analytics are allowed, technical data may be processed, including device and browser type, operating system, approximate region, pages viewed, visit time, traffic source, and interactions with website elements.

Fajr.kz does not send analytics or advertising services a name, phone number, email address, precise geolocation, selected city, prayer times, sleep calculations, religious preferences, or account data.

Third-party service data may be stored or processed outside the Republic of Kazakhstan. More information about Google’s processing is available in the Google Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Services

For website operation, analytics, and ad measurement, Fajr.kz may use Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Google Campaign Manager 360 / Floodlight, and Muslim Ad Network. These services process technical data under their own terms and policies.

If a new category of third-party service is introduced, this Policy will be updated before or at the same time as its use begins.
